Exhibitor COVID-19 Health & Safety Requirements

Please note that all exhibitor representatives, Star Trek: Mission Chicago staff, and vendors must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to work at or attend the event and comply with all other health & safety requirements at all times when on-site at Star Trek: Mission Chicago.

PROOF OF FULL VACCINATION

Exhibitor Representatives are required to show proof of completion of full vaccination with a COVID-19 vaccine approved or authorized for emergency use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or World Health Organization (WHO) for admission. Negative tests will not be accepted for admission of exhibitor representatives.

All exhibitor representatives must present proof of full vaccination on all active show days (April 8 - 10 ,2022) to enter Star Trek: Mission Chicago.

When you arrive onsite, you will need to show proof of vaccination prior to entering Star Trek: Mission Chicago. Once verified, you will be given a wristband that will allow you entry for days of the event. You will not need to show proof of vaccination each day you enter the building provided that you are wearing your wristband. Exhibitor representatives must have both an appropriate badge and a wristband in order to enter Star Trek: Mission Chicago.

“Fully vaccinated” means that the day of your entry to Star Trek: Mission Chicago must be at least 14 days after completion of your primary series of an FDA or WHO approved or authorized COVID-19 vaccine, such as:

  • second dose of a two dose COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna), or
  • single dose of a single dose COVID-19 vaccine (Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine)

In accordance with CDC guidelines, booster shots are not required to be considered fully vaccinated, however, please note that the CDC recommends that people remain up to date with their vaccines, which includes additional doses for individuals who are immunocompromised or booster doses at regular time points. Please note that this remains subject to further update as CDC guidance is revised.

The following vaccines approved by the FDA or authorized by the FDA for emergency use*:

  • Pfizer (BioNTech)
  • Moderna
  • J&J (Jansen)

The following vaccines authorized by the WHO for emergency use*:

  • Oxford - AstraZeneca
  • Sinopharm – BBIBP
  • Sinovac
  • Covishield
  • Covaxin

The following vaccine used during a U.S. based clinical trial:

  • Novavax

RX and Star Trek: Mission Chicago will accept mixed COVID-19 vaccine schedules of WHO-authorized vaccines to establish full vaccination status.

*This list is current as of March 25, 2022 and may be revised in the future.

No, every single person must be present with their own ID and applicable vaccination verification materials (ie. physical vaccination card or digital proof).

We recommend that our participants follow CDC Guidelines regarding face coverings and maintain up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations. Wearing an appropriate face covering is strongly recommended for all participants while attending Star Trek: Mission Chicago and we ask that anyone who is not up-to-date on their COVID-19 vaccinations wear a face covering at all times. Face coverings may be required per our guests' requests at specific autographing tables or for specific panels. 

Everyone in attendance at Star Trek: Mission Chicago is expected to fully comply with terms of service for participation, including all health and safety requirements. Acknowledging the  requirements and agreeing to comply is a condition of entry (See the Health & Safety Acknowledgement). Show management may remove, ban or revoke the badge without refund of anyone who fails to comply or impacts the safety or security of the Event, each in show management’s sole and absolute discretion.
