What Is Star Trek: Mission New York?

Star Trek: Mission New York is the ultimate destination for Star Trek fans, filled with interactive exhibits, exclusive merchandise, celebrity guests, panels, screenings and much more. Fueled by a new movie in July 2016 and an upcoming television series in 2017, this will be the not-to-miss Star Trek event of the year!

In collaboration with CBS Consumer Products, Star Trek: Mission New York provides exclusive access to content, personalities, and news about past and upcoming films and television.  Star Trek: Mission New York will be an immersive experience featuring props and replicas from the TV shows and films, exclusive screenings, celebrity guests, panels featuring creators and film stars, and exclusive merchandise in the Official Store.

Who's The Organizer?

Star Trek: Mission New York was produced by CBS Consumer Products in cooperation with the ReedPOP group within Reed Exhibitions, the world's largest event organizer. ReedPOP also runs  New York Comic ConChicago Comic & Entertainment ExpoPAXOz Comic-ConStar Wars CelebrationBookCon and Comic Con Paris. Other Reed Exhibitions shows include BookExpo America, the London Book Fair, and MIPCOM.

Who Needs A Ticket?

All attendees six-years-old and up need a ticket to enter Star Trek: Mission New York. All children 5 years old and under do not need a ticket. They are free every day and must be accompanied by an adult with a valid Adult Ticket. Child Tickets for Star Trek: Mission New York are valid for Children ages 6-12. All attendees age thirteen and up must purchase an Adult Ticket.

Please note, Star Trek: Mission New York recommends all children under 18 attend with an adult, and all children under 13 must have an adult with them while at all times. Companions for those that require Medical Assistance need to purchase a Ticket.

We accept fan panels and fan props and count on the support of fans to form our Crew, who help make Star Trek: Mission New York a great experience for all. If you'd like to play a part, there are a number of ways to get involved.

Star Trek: Mission New York will feature cast and crew from Star Trek TV shows and movies that fans have enjoyed for the last fifty years. And with new movies and TV shows on the horizon, Star Trek: Mission New York promises to help chart the course for the next fifty years of Star Trek entertainment.

What Kind Of Events Can I Expect?

Star Trek: Mission New York is the ultimate destination for Star Trek fans. It will be filled with interactive exhibits, immersive experiences, panels featuring creators and film stars, special events and so much more. Events and entertainment ranging from grand to intimate, with autograph sessions, behind-the-scenes insights, academic discussions, costume contests and sneak peeks at the future of Star Trek are all elements of what happen at Star Trek: Mission New York. Star Trek: Mission New York’s panels, screenings, and special events will show off the passion of Star Trek’s most dedicated fans and professionals, and a full schedule of events will be publicized approximately one month from the event.

Can I Take Pictures?

For the most part, you're welcome to take still pictures and video at Star Trek: Mission New York; however, please note that all audio and visual recording is prohibited during screenings, concerts, and during many live stage shows. Also, please understand that guests may or may not pose for photographs with fans. Guests have a right to their privacy, and if they ask not to have their picture taken, please respect their wishes.

Will I Be On Camera?

Star Trek: Mission New York attracts local, national, and international press. By attending Star Trek: Mission New York, you give your consent to be photographed and appear on camera. You could end up on StarTrek.com, Entertainment Tonight, or even the Vulcan evening news.

Will Guests Sign Autographs?

Star Trek: Mission New York’s scheduled autograph signings will be published one month from the event.

Can I Bring A Phaser? Can I Buy A Photon Torpedo?

For the safety of all convention attendees, volunteers, guests, and staff, there are restrictions on what can be bought, sold, and brought into Star Trek: Mission New York. Failure to follow this policy may result in your removal from the convention without refund. View our Weapons Policy.

What Does Star Trek: Mission New York Think Of Bootlegs?

Star Trek: Mission New York is produced under the authorization of CBS Consumer Products, and the buying and selling of counterfeit / knock-off / unlicensed materials will not be tolerated. Star Trek: Mission New York showcases the best of Star Trek, and bootlegs have no place in the show. Violation of this rule will result in one warning. A second violation will result in removal from the show without refund.
